Tortoises instinctively dig down at night and hide uder things. It helps them regulate their temperature and keeps them safe. Vida my new hatchling Hermanns tortoise knew exactly what she should do from the moment she hatched. Hunting for little one's always makes me smile. I thought it might make you smile too.
